Paige Faulkner is the daughter of Jeff and Heather Faulkner. She has one sister Ally, who is 12. She works as a lifeguard at the YMCA and Lions Field Pool’s, as well as working as a waitress at the 3C Bistro. Her favorite classes are Culinary Arts classes. Creating, making and doing things interest her much more than normal school work. She is involved in Volleyball, Just for Kix Dance, Student Council, and National Honors Society. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, shopping, and being active. Her most memorable moment in high school was making it to state volleyball junior and senior year. “It was amazing to get the opportunity to make it as far as we did. It was so fun. I wish we would have made it all the way to the end, but it was a good experience either way and it is something I will remember forever.” Post-graduation, Paige plans to attend NIACC for 2 years, and then transfer to the University of Northern Iowa to get a degree in Elementary education. The thing she will miss most from high school is her great friends, most of which she has known since Elementary school. Her advice to underclassmen is to try everything. “Be very involved in activities at school. This will not only help you to find out what you really enjoy doing, but it will also help you to make new friends.” In 5 years she sees herself with a 4-year degree in Elementary Education and either with a job or looking for a job.
